Police Lieutenant & Police Sergeant

The Hanover Police Department is seeking an experienced and qualified law enforcement professional to fill a vacancy in the Police Department’s administration, as a Lieutenant for the agency. The Lieutenant will assist in the day-to-day operations for the Patrol and Detective Divisions. 

The Hanover Police Department is also seeking applicants for the position of Sergeant in order to create an eligibility list for a possible opening within the agency.  The Sergeant’s position serves as a front-line supervisor in the Patrol Division and may be assigned to other divisions as necessary.

Lieutenant salary range is $70,678 to $107,099.

Sergeant salary range is $60,923 to $92,393.

Additional incentives are available for education and annual physical fitness testing.
