BID 03-2025

Sealed bids for the purchase of two (2) “Six-Wheel Cab and Chassis” by the Town of Bedford, will be received at the Department of Public Works, 55 Constitution Drive, 2nd Floor, Bedford, New Hampshire 03110 until 10:30 a.m. prevailing time, May 19, 2025 at which time they will be publicly opened.

The proposal shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Town of Bedford, Public Works Department and clearly marked in the lower left-hand corner, “BID 03-2025 Two (2) Six- Wheel Cab & Chassis”.  No electronic bid documents will be accepted.

The bid document will be available at the Department of Public Works at the above address as well as online at https://www.bedfordnh.org/367/RFP beginning on Monday, April 28, 2025.

The Town of Bedford reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or any part thereof, and to waive any minor informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town also reserves the right to conduct reasonable negotiations with low bidders and sole bidders. Failure to submit all information may declare a bid as non-responsive and subject to disqualification.

The Town of New Boston, along with the New Boston Recreation Commission, is seeking estimates from qualified contractors to replace the wooden roof of a gazebo that is approximately 30 years old. The gazebo is located at 5 Meetinghouse Hill Road, New Boston NH, 03070. The project involves removing the existing roof, assessing the underlying structure for damage, and installing a new, durable, and aesthetically pleasing roof. The Town is seeking estimates to determine the cost of this work to budget for this work in 2026. The Town understands that asking for exact figures in advance can be challenging but needs to establish the costs with any escalation to appropriately plan for this work in 2026.  For more details, see the town website at

Note: The Town of New Boston has an extensive 4th of July Parade each year. The desire is to have this work done prior to the 4th of July or commencing after that date without interference with the Town’s celebration.
