The Webster Police Department is now accepting applications for a full and part- time Certified Police Officer. We are offering an hourly wage of up to $35.00 per hour, depending upon training and experience.
Webster is a bedroom community to the state capital, Concord, NH. We are a small police department in a town with three lakes and a river. We enjoy strong support from the town’s people and have excellent equipment and a modern facility.
Responsibilities:
As one of our Officers, your duties would include, but would not be limited to: enforcing local, state, & federal laws; responding to calls-for-service and emergencies; completing criminal investigations; conducting patrols to ensure public safety and prevent crime; preparing accurate reports and maintaining detailed records; and, engaging with our community to foster positive relationships.

Minimum qualifications:
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21 years old at the time of appointment, hold a valid driver’s license, be a U.S. citizen, maintain good physical condition, and demonstrate a strong ability and willingness to work with the public.
Selection process:
Candidates must be certified as a full-time police officer with the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council and successfully complete a Physical Agility Test, Oral Board Interview, Psychological Examination, Medical Screening, Drug Screening. Some of the above requirements may be waived at the discretion of the Chief of Police.
