The Newport Fire Department provides fire and emergency medical services to the Town of Newport (population 6,500+) and primary EMS response for the Town of Goshen (population 800+).
We are seeking two candidates to fill newly created vacancies with our department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service, inspecting and maintaining department apparatus and equipment, station duties and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
ALS Provider License (AEMT within 1 year of hire).
Firefighter I & II certification (must obtain Firefighter II within 1 year or earliest available course).
