Invitation to Bid:
The Town of New Castle is accepting sealed, clearly marked bid proposals for the sale of one (1) Ford F-350. The equipment can be viewed by appointment by contacting Chris Robillard, Public Works Director at 603-766-3613 or publicworks@newcastle.nh.gov. Bids should be mailed to the address below or hand delivered to the Department of Public Works and should be received no later than Thursday August 13th at 2:00 PM. Bids will be opened at the Selectboard meeting scheduled for August 18th at 11:00 AM.

Please note: The equipment is sold “as is” and the town offers no warranty or guarantee on the equipment either expressed or implied. The Town of New Castle reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town. Payment in full must be received within ten (10) days of Notice of Award. Payment will be accepted only via cash or certified check made payable to the Town of New Castle.
Description of equipment:
2016 Ford F-350 with a Reading utility body, Liftmoore crane, 2 yard Steelcaster sander and 8 foot Fisher steel plow. The truck currently has 38,600 miles.
