Invitation to Bid: Construction of Shoreline Stabilization Measures – Georges Mills Beach
The Town of Sunapee is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of shoreline stabilization measures at the Town‑owned Georges Mills Beach, 18 Cooper Street, Sunapee, NH. The project includes installation of a stone base, encapsulated soil lift, coir logs, and two infiltration steps along approximately 108 linear feet of shoreline to address erosion, protect Lake Sunapee’s water quality, and maintain safe public access. Work must conform to the plans prepared by Stone Environmental, Inc. (March 2026) and the Town’s bid specifications.

Submission deadline: Friday, June 5, 2026, by 5:00 pm. Paper or electronic bid proposals must be clearly marked “Bid Proposal for the Construction of Shoreline Stabilization Measures at 18 Cooper Street, Sunapee, NH." Electronic copies shall be emailed to geoffl@lakesunapee.org and paper copies delivered to the LSPA office located at 63 Main Street, Sunapee, NH 03782.
Construction window: July 13, 2026, through August 14, 2026 (all work and equipment removal must be completed by August 14).
