The City is seeking a reliable and motivated Utility Mechanic to support the maintenance and upkeep of Prescott Park and City-owned buildings and property. This position plays a key role in preserving the park’s landscaped areas while also assisting with a variety of operational, maintenance, repair, and construction tasks.
Pay rate: $24.58 - $27.10 an hour per the 1386A Salary Schedule
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants for this position must have graduated from high school or have a graduate equivalent diploma (GED), a working knowledge of computers, and not less than three years’ experience maintaining green spaces and general carpentry skills.
Incumbent must possess, or obtain in 12 months, a valid Commercial Driver’s License, Class B, and have no offenses which would prohibit or restrict insurability by any insurance carrier providing coverage to the City.
