Administrative Assistant - Police Department

The Hopkinton Police Department is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will support daily operations in a law enforcement environment by performing a wide range of clerical, administrative, and records management duties essential to maintaining the Department's efficiency and professionalism.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent. An Associate’s Degree or higher is desirable but not required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative or clerical experience (preferably in a professional or public safety setting), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  •  Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Proficiency in general office software and systems
  • Experience with records management systems or law enforcement software is desirable but not required. 
  • Familiarity with Central Square IMC or similar RMS platforms is desirable but not required
  • Commitment to public service and professionalism.
