TOWN OF BARNSTEAD
HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR
The Town of Barnstead is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Highway Department Supervisor. This position has flexibility in the work schedule.
The Highway Department Supervisor oversees departmental operations and provides management and oversight of the Highway Department employees and equipment. Works to prepares and implement a long-term plan for the construction, reconstruction, maintenance, and snow removal of the Town’s roads. Works with the Town Administrator on financial and capital planning and budgeting.
A minimum of 3-5 years’ supervisory and management level experience required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field desirable. Any equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered qualifying. Heavy equipment operation and knowledge and CDL-B a plus.
