The Town of Kingston (“the Town”) invites qualified solid waste service providers to submit proposals for exclusive, cart-based curbside collection services for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and recyclable materials for residential properties within the Municipality.
The intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to secure a contractor that can provide reliable, efficient, environmentally responsible, and customer-oriented services using a fully automated or semi-automated cart-based collection system.
Kingston, New Hampshire, is approximately 21 square miles, with 62 miles of Town-maintained roadways, 34 miles of State-maintained roadways, and approximately 6,300 residents. Current curbside pickup of MSW happens four days a week, with recyclables collected biweekly in conjunction with MSW collection.
The Town participates in two “Household Hazardous Waste Day” events with neighboring municipalities, two Bulky Waste Collection events and one Electronic Waste event each year.
