The Town of Newmarket Environmental Services Department is accepting applications for a Wastewater Chief of Operations. Applicants must have knowledge of operating a biological nutrient-removal wastewater treatment facility. Working knowledge of laboratory procedures and practices. Working knowledge of equipment, facilities, materials, methods and procedures used in wastewater treatment. Skill in operation of the following tools and equipment: pumps, mixers, blowers, motors, generators, gauges, instrumentation probes, and laboratory equipment. Education and experience: An associate degree in Environmental Studies or Biological Science, three to five years’ experience in related field, and/or any equivalent combination of education and experience. A New Hampshire Grade III Wastewater Operator Certification. Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00 / hour.
