Colonel Town Recreation is now hiring a head lifeguard as a seasonal position: June-August. Lead our aquatic team this summer and help keep our community safe!
Minimum requirements:
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- CPR/AED & First Aid Certified
- Prior lifeguarding experience required
- Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certification required or willingness to obtain (training support is available)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and schedule lifeguard staff
- Ensure safety rules and procedures are followed
- Respond to emergencies and complete incident reports
- Conduct staff trainings and safety drills
- Support swim lesson programming
- Maintain a professional and welcoming pool environment
Schedule:
- Seasonal: June - August
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Part-time / Full-time opportunities
Pay rate $17-19 per hour depending on experience.
