The Town of Hampton has an opening for an Operator at our Wastewater Treatment Plant. A person in this position performs technical work involving the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant including necessary recording of data, process control, lab work, preventative, corrective, condition and risk-based maintenance.
A successful candidate's starting pay is based on education, experience, and level of NH Wastewater Facility Operator Certification. The starting level is an Operator-in-Training, which does not require wastewater experience or certification to start. Candidates with a level 1 or 2 certification receive a higher starting salary.
