Town of Easton
Request for Proposal
The Town of Easton is seeking Part Time assessing service from an experienced Certified Property Assessor to perform appraisal and assessing functions relating to exemptions, annual pickups, timber and excavation operations, and current use programs. The Town uses Avitar software to maintain approximately 380 properties, consisting of 250 homes and 130 vacant lots with no commercial properties. The town issued 17 building permits in 2025, 2 of which were new homes. The former assessor’s workload ranged from 4-8 hrs. per month.
