Land Use Coordinator (Part-Time)

The Town of Nottingham, NH is currently accepting applications for the position of Land Use Clerk. This part-time role provides administrative and clerical support to both the Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Adjustment, serving as a vital liaison between these boards and the public. This position typically averages 20 hours per week, with hours varying based on board schedules and workload. Scheduled office hours in the Planning and Zoning Office are required.  Evening meeting attendance is not routinely required but may be requested by the Board as needed.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Proficiency in standard computer applications and office procedures
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare agendas, meeting notices, and correspondence
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in recordkeeping and documentation
  • Ability to work reliably and independently, managing tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • An aptitude for researching and understanding planning and zoning regulations and related topics
