The NH Homeowner Assistance Fund (NH HAF) provides financial assistance for eligible New Hampshire homeowners who have been financially impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic and are behind in paying their home mortgage, property taxes, utility bills, home insurance, or other housing costs.

Information about NH HAF, as well as the federal NH Emergency Rental Assistance program, which provides assistance to renters and landlords impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic at HomeHelpNH.org.
 
The NH Homeowner Assistance Fund program and NH Emergency Rental Assistance Program are funded through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and the Governor’s Office for Emergency Relief and Recovery and is administered by New Hampshire Housing.

Mari Voisine advances over 30 years of successful business experience in mortgage banking, finance, bankruptcy law, real estate, and financial education.  In 2021, Mari joined New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority as their Program Manager for the Homeowner Assistance Fund.  Before that she spent 12 years as the Manager of Statewide Foreclosure Intervention Initiatives for a local non-profit housing organization.  She is recognized locally, statewide, and federally for her knowledge and expertise in the field of Foreclosure Intervention and in 2015 was an intricate part of a Senate Committee that was able to successfully orchestrate changes to New Hampshire Foreclosure Law to better protect New Hampshire constituents.

Ruth has been practicing law since 1996 and has passed the bar exam in 4 separate states. She came to New Hampshire 18 years ago and has served NH residents ever since. Ruth is one of the New Hampshire Legal Assistance attorneys dedicated to the Homeowner Assistance Fund project. She works with homeowners seeking property tax relief, represents domestic violence survivors in family law matters, and those struggling to secure or maintain Social Security benefits.
