Every public meeting and nonpublic session of a public body requires meeting minutes – but are you handling them correctly? Join Legal Services Counsels Jonathan Cowal and Christine Johnston to get the facts about when minutes are required, what they must contain, how detailed they should be, and what to do with them after they are prepared. The attorneys will also discuss the special rules that apply to minutes of nonpublic sessions, decisions to seal and unseal them, the requirement to maintain an inventory of nonpublic minutes, and the obligation to review previously sealed nonpublic minutes.
