Winter Road Maintenance Subcontractors Wanted

WINTER MAINTENANCE SUBCONTRACTORS WANTED 

Winter 2026–2027

The Town of Nottingham Highway Department is seeking qualified and insured contractors to provide snow plowing, sanding, and winter road maintenance services during the 2026–2027 winter season.

Equipment operators and contractors with the following equipment are encouraged to apply:

• 6-wheel dump trucks with wing and sander
• 4-wheel-drive pickup trucks with 8'6"–9' plows
• Small front-end loaders
• Skid steers
• Other suitable snow removal equipment

Contractors must:

• Provide properly licensed and qualified operators;
• Maintain required insurance and Workers' Compensation coverage;
• Provide and maintain their own equipment, plows, cutting edges, fuel, and communications equipment; and
• Be available to mobilize within one hour of notification during a storm event.  The Town will assign routes based on equipment type and operational needs.  Contractors are responsible for equipment maintenance, repairs, and towing.

Business/contractor name and contact information, equipment available, operator information, and proposed hourly rates.
