EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
One Opening for Water/Wastewater Superintendent.
The Town of Antrim Water & Sewer Department is seeking a full-time Water/Wastewater Superintendent to serve as the Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC). This position performs responsible technical, administrative, and supervisory work involving the operation, maintenance, and process control of a 0.210 MGD wastewater treatment facility, three (3) sewer pump stations, wastewater collection systems serving Antrim and Bennington, and two (2) gravel pack wells for the public water systems. Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment plant systems and equipment including but not limited to pipelines, valves, fire hydrants, pumps, meters, computer systems, and ArcGIS mapping software.
Pay is commensurate with experience, training and licenses possessed.
Schedule: Full-time position, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response during system failures or inclement weather.
Requirements: Must possess the following New Hampshire certifications:
o NH Wastewater Treatment Grade II
o NH Water Treatment Grade I
o NH Water Distribution Grade I
Valid New Hampshire Driver’s License with clean history, Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions, and Strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Municipal Water/Wastewater Facility experience.
