The Town of Hampton is a vibrant community located in New Hampshire's Seacoast Region. We are seeking an experienced vehicle mechanic who can perform skilled mechanical work in the maintenance and repair of automotive, light and heavy-duty equipment and provides limited maintenance to Fire Department equipment and Police Department fleets. Work includes diagnosing problems, sourcing parts, and emergency road maintenance repairs.
The Town of Hampton provides all tools and equipment necessary to perform the work.
Starting wage is dependent on your skills, amount of training, and years of experience. This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement that provides excellent benefits, including medical, dental, life, paid sick and vacation, and annual pay increases.
