Town Planner - Town of Winthrop, Maine

The Town of Winthrop, Maine, seeks a collaborative and forward-thinking Town Planner to help guide the community's growth while preserving the qualities that give Winthrop its unique sense of place. Located near Maine’s state capital, Winthrop is a vibrant lakeside community of approximately 6,100 residents. Position summary

The Town Planner serves as the professional planning advisor to the Planning Board, Town Council, Town Manager, Zoning Board of Appeals, and other municipal committees. This position leads long-range planning initiatives, administers land use regulations, supports community development, prepares grant applications for designated planning projects, oversees environmental planning programs, and administers the development review process.
