Town Treasurer
The Town of Allenstown is currently looking for interested individuals to be the Town Treasurer.
Responsibilities include managing Town funds and upholding their fiduciary duty to the Town. Keeping adequate records of all transactions. Review and authorize accounts payable and payroll and engage in sound investment strategies.
Preferred candidates should have an accounting, banking or finance background and prior interest in municipal operations.
The position is part-time, and the Town provides a yearly stipend.
