The Whitefield Police Department is currently looking to hire a Full-Time School Resource Officer (SRO).
Eligible candidates must have the following:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- U.S Citizenship
- Ability to meet current fitness requirements set forth by the N.H Police Standards & Training Council.
Once an eligible candidate has applied, they must be able to pass an interview, fitness test, background investigation, psychological test, polygraph, and medical testing. The Whitefield Police Department is currently looking for Certified Police Officers *(NH OR LATERAL) * with experience to fill the position.
The Town of Whitefield offers competitive wages and benefits package to include NH Retirement, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, and Paid Holiday/Vacation/Sick Leave. The Town of Whitefield is nestled in the heart of the White Mountains. The Town of Whitefield utilizes a pay-scale to determine wage based on the applicant’s law enforcement experience. The SRO would work dayshift Monday – Friday during the school year and then a rotating patrol schedule in the summer.
