RFP 2027-017: Police Station Construction Documents and Design

The Town of Atkinson is requesting proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms for the design and development of construction documents for a new Police Station. The Town intends to select a qualified design team with demonstrated experience in the planning and design of municipal, public-safety, law-enforcement, or similarly secure facilities. The qualified design team should also be able to demonstrate experience with site evaluation with regard to facility design projects.

The project is to utilize an existing conceptual design and develop a comprehensive schematic design and complete set of construction documents for a new Police Station. The selected consultant shall provide the professional services necessary to advance the project through development of complete construction documents suitable for permitting, competitive bidding, and construction. The construction documents shall include all architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, communications, security, technology, and other specialty disciplines necessary for a complete and functional police facility.

All proposals must be received at the Selectmen’s Office, 19 Academy Avenue, Atkinson, NH 03811, in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “Police Station Construction Documents” no later than 12:00 Noon Thursday, October 22, 2026.
