The Town of Walpole is seeking applicants for a manager of the Recycling Center and Transfer Station. This is a full-time, salaried position with generous benefits including health, dental, disability and life insurance coverage. NH Retirement System (NHRS) contributions and paid time off are part of the benefit package.
The Walpole Recycling Center Manager oversees all aspects of the facility. The manager is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of processing recyclable materials and sold waste.
Applicants must have either a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of four (4) years prior experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in managing a recycling center and transfer station facility. Applicants are required to have a valid NH motor vehicle driver license and Principal Operator Certification with the NH Department of Environmental Services (NH DES) Waste Management Division.
