We're currently hiring four (4) Part Time Lifeguards for the Portsmouth Indoor Pool.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 5:30am-9:30am (additional hours may be available)
Hours: 8-10 hours per week
Pay rate: $18.00 per hour
NATURE OF WORK
The purpose of this position is to perform professional work in the safety and use of the Portsmouth Indoor Pool. Monitors activities in aquatic areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to patrons while performing directly related work as required. Maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, other City employees and the public.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification is required for this position.
Applicants for this position should have some experience in aquatic facility activities or equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform work.
