Notice of Vacancy – Board of Selectmen
Town of Gilmanton, New Hampshire
In accordance with RSA 669:63, the Town of Gilmanton is seeking qualified applicants to fill one vacancy on the Board of Selectmen. The appointment must be made from among Gilmanton residents.
Pursuant to New Hampshire law, the remaining members of the Board of Selectmen will follow the applicable provisions of RSA 669 to fill this vacancy. The Board has sole authority to appoint the replacement member, who will serve until the FY2027 Town Election, at which time a successor will be elected to complete the remaining term.
Residents interested in serving are invited to submit a letter of interest along with a completed Board Member Application. All materials must be received by Friday, February 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Submissions will be distributed to the Board of Selectmen following the application deadline.
A public meeting will be held to interview all applicants on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
