Invitation to Bid - Old Bridge Street over Beaver Brook Relief Channel

INVITATION TO BID

The Town of Pelham, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire is requesting bid proposals for the following project:

Old Bridge Street over Beaver Brook Relief Channel

NHDOT Bridge No. 108/082

NHDOT Project No. 29450

Federal No. X-A005(218)

Old Bridge Street in Pelham, NH is also known as Abbott Bridge. The structure is a historic twin stone arch bridge constructed circa 1837 and is believed to be New Hampshire’s oldest surviving double arched stone bridge. To correct the hydraulic deficiencies of the water crossing, a 48-foot single span precast, prestressed concrete deck slab bridge will be constructed as a relief structure adjacent to the existing stone arch bridge. The project involves creating a new relief channel next to Beaver Brook with reinforced earth slopes and approximately 400 LF of roadway reconstruction.

Sealed Bids must be received at the Pelham Town Offices on or before 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Interested Bidders shall be listed on the NHDOT Prequalified Contractors List with Bridge Classification.
