Highway Foreman
The Town of Newport, NH seeks a qualified individual for the position of Highway Foreman
Primary duties will be performing technical work in supervising and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in a variety of Public Works projects, including the construction, maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks and bridges. Rate of pay $30.40 per hour DOQ plus benefits.
The successful candidate will possess a High School Diploma; (5+) five years of related work experience in a supervisory position with experience in the repair and maintenance of highways and roadways; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of CDL Class A driver’s license or ability to acquire within 1 year. Possession of a NH Culvert Maintainers Certification.
