Highway Dept. Truck Drivers

The Barnstead Highway Department has 2 fulltime year-round positions available. Minimal requirements include skill in the operation and maintenance of light and heavy-duty trucks, heavy and light equipment. Valid NH CDL-B preferred. Prior snow-plowing experience preferred. Excavator or Grader experience a plus. Fulltime applicants must be flexible during winter months, able to work nights and weekends as needed and must live within a reasonable travel distance of the Barnstead Highway Garage.
Pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, physical, driver’s record and criminal records check required. Subject to periodic random drug and alcohol screening. These positions offer a competitive wage (commensurate with experience) and the fulltime position offers a complete benefit package.
