Town of Gilmanton- Highway Working Foreman
The Town of Gilmanton is seeking a qualified working Foreman to join the Town’s Highway Department.
This is a full-time, forty-hour a week position working under the general supervision of the Road Agent.
Duties are varied and diversified in maintaining public roads including supervisory work in the direction of all Highway Department employees, operation of all equipment used in the construction and maintenance of streets, culverts, and other public works projects along with the manual labor assignments.
Qualified candidates shall possess a Class CDL B and have experience operating heavy equipment, repairing and maintenance of heavy equipment and snowplow operations. Good work record and the ability to work mandatory overtime during the winter. Must pass a physical, drug and alcohol test as well as criminal/driving records check.
Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
