The Town of Loudon New Hampshire, Fire Department is accepting applications & resumes for an  opening beginning July 1, 2024 for a full - time Firefighter / Paramedic / AEMT / EMT 

The Town of Loudon is located in Merrimack County NH and has a population of 5616 residents located on 47.5 square miles of land. The Town of Loudon is primarily a residential community with a large agricultural base and is also host to New England’s largest sporting venue New Hampshire Motor Speedway which boasts nationally televised sporting events as well as a large accompaniment of various large events throughout the year. The Fire Department operates out of two stations and has a modern complement of ambulances and fire rescue equipment. The fire department is staffed with a full - time Chief, Deputy Chief, Administrative Assistant, (4) Career Firefighters and a 33 person roster of per-diem and call firefighters & emt’s. The fire department responds to an average of 1000 emergency calls per year and transports primarily to Concord Hospital, a level II trauma center.
