Fire Lieutenant/EMT, AEMT or Paramedic
The Allenstown Fire Department is currently accepting resumes for a Full-Time Lieutenant/EMT position. The position responsibilities include but are not limited to, protecting the life and property of 4,359 residents within 20 square miles, response to approximately 900 fire and medical emergencies, operating department apparatus, maintaining department equipment and the maintenance of fire department facilities. This is a 24-hour workday with a 1 on, 2 off, 1 on, 4 day off schedule. Position is currently an average 42 hours work week.
Minimum Requirements:
18 years of age
High School Diploma (or GED)
Firefighter Level I, II certification
Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (Advanced, Paramedic preferred)
Applicants must comply with New Hampshire Fire Standards and Training Commission’s Rule Part 700 with successful completion of the Candidate Physical Agility Test (CPAT) or lateral transfer pursuant to the State of New Hampshire administrative rule 703.01. Valid NH Driver’s License (experienced CDL preferred)

Compensation: Current salary range based on certification and experience, with competitive benefits package and overtime. Starting salary $26.10 to $36.42 per hour with a progressive wage schedule!
