The Town of Rindge, located in southwestern New Hampshire, is seeking an individual for the position of Fire Chief to lead a staff of full-time/part-time and call member personnel. Direct experience in fire supervision and prevention work, and emergency medical services delivery, including some supervisory and administrative duties in a fire department, is required. The successful candidate must be a strong and proven leader.
Minimum qualifications include an Associates’ Degree in Fire Science, Public Administration, Bachelors’ preferred, or a closely related field, enrolled in or completion of the New Hampshire Fire Officer Program (NH CFO I) or enrolled in or completed Masters’ Degree, NIMS/ICS training through level 300/400 and ten years of experience in fire and emergency medical service work, five years of which must have been equivalent to deputy chief or higher, and be able to meet New Hampshire full time Firefighter/EMT requirements. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
