Strafford Regional Planning Commission seeks a part-time finance manager to join our dedicated staff team.
The finance manager will take a lead role in the following initiatives:
- Oversee the Commission’s core financial functions, including maintain accounting records, prepare journal entries, manage cash flow and payroll, and process invoices.
- Ensure timely reconciliations, generate accurate financial reports, and monitor compliance with Commission policies and funding requirements.
- Coordinate with funding sources and vendors.
- Support audits and assist with budget development.
- Advise the Executive Director on the Commission’s financial position.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, bookkeeping and payroll tasks and enjoy working in a creative, innovative, and collaborative environment. They will also have excellent communications skills, both oral and written, and a high degree of personal accountability.
This position is 24 hours per week with a salary of $45,000-$55,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience. We offer a flexible work environment and excellent benefit package.
