The Town of Atkinson is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Finance Manager. This position performs complex, professional accounting work, including financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, benefits administration, and general ledger maintenance. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and record keeping; the ability to adapt established methods to varied accounting transactions is required. Experience with the New Hampshire Retirement System, employee benefits and labor laws, and compensation and unemployment insurance filing is strongly desired.
