The Town of Farmington, NH is seeking an experienced municipal finance administrator to manage its bookkeeping and payroll functions. With a population of approximately 7000 residents, the finance administrator works closely with the Town Administrator and department heads to manage the finances of the Town, which includes a $10 million operating budget (FY25) along with other related funds. Farmington is located just minutes from the NH Lakes Region, Maine & NH Seacoasts, and an hour from the White Mountains. The position reports to a five-member Board of Selectmen through the Town Administrator. A college degree in finance/accounting or related field and three (3) years of relevant experience, preferably in a municipal setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience is desired.
Salary range to $100,000; starting salary commensurate with qualifications. Excellent benefits. This position is not in the NH Retirement System. Farmington is an equal opportunity employer.
