The Portsmouth School District is seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking leader to serve as the next Director of Career and Technical Education (CTE) beginning July 1, 2026.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the continued evolution of career-connected learning at Portsmouth High School, expanding student pathways, strengthening partnerships with Portsmouth's vibrant business and nonprofit community, and ensuring that CTE programming contributes to the high school's overall success. Portsmouth believes that strong Career and Technical Education programs strengthen the entire high school experience by helping students connect their learning to meaningful future pathways including college, career training, apprenticeships, and direct entry into the workforce.
Qualifications
Required
• Master's degree in education, workforce development, or a related field
• Certification or eligibility for certification as a Career and Technical Education Director in the State of New Hampshire
• Demonstrated leadership or management experience in education, workforce development, or a related field
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative leadership skills
