ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO TOWN ADMINISTRATOR
The Town of Barnstead is seeking a highly organized, professional and confidential individual to fill the full-time position of Administrative Assistant to the Town Administrator. This position provides administrative support to the Town Administrator and Board of Selectmen. The successful candidate should have a solid understanding of municipal government, State and Federal labor laws, municipal law, policies and procedures; office and information management systems.
Key responsibilities include Human Resources (onboarding, benefits administration and maintaining confidential personnel records); Payroll Processing and other duties as needed. An Associates or Bachelors degree in business or public administration a plus.
