Meeting the MtBE Challenge in New Hampshire

NHMA's Tim Fortier will host DES's Gary Lynn, MtBE Remediation Bureau Administrator, for an overview of the State's MtBE Remediation Fund.   In 2013, the state received $81,630,000 in MtBE lawsuit settlements and now has a total of $22,316,661 of funding available for MtBE cleanup during the current biennium. Eligible spending activities include municipal water infrastructure projects where the project is necessary to address significant MtBE contamination problems.   This webinar is open to members of the NH Municipal Association and is of interest to officials and employees involved in public and/or municipal water works and those with decision-making authority regarding the protection of local water resources.
