In partnership with NLC’s Race, Equity, and Leadership (REAL) Department, Region One (New England states) provide this opportunity to learn more about normalizing, organizing, and operationalizing racial equity within your cities, towns, and villages. Collectively, Region One will offer two, 90-minute webinars. These sessions will then be followed by individual town halls led by REAL, to allow each State League the opportunity to connect, support discussion and learning, questions, and thoughts from the previous webinars.

This webinar is part of REAL’s 100 series that focuses on normalizing a shared understanding on the history of institutional and structural racism in America. The content provides leaders with a shared language for racial equity, examines existing racial disparities in cities and the implication for advancing racial equity, and introduce important concepts and tools for organizing and operationalizing racial equity.
