Leveraging ARPA Funds in Support of Municipal, Arts, and Cultural Partnerships for COVID Recovery and Revitalization Webinar

3:00 pm - 4:15 pm
Monday, March 21, 2022

The U.S. Treasury, through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), has made significant funds available to local and county governments to assist in COVID recovery and revitalization.  Local arts and cultural organizations are essential partners in this effort, as municipalities identify and invest in strategies that lay a foundation for recovery and growth.

PRESENTERS

Katherine Heck, Government Financial Advisor at the New Hampshire Municipal Association, will explain how the U.S. Treasury’s Final Rule for ARPA Recovery Funds allows municipalities to use relief funds at the local level.

Jay Dick, Senior Director of State and Local Government Affairs at Americans for the Arts, will share examples of how local towns and municipalities in New Hampshire and across the U.S. are leveraging ARPA funds in partnership with the arts to restore confidence in public gatherings, re-activate public spaces, and propel economic growth.

This conversation provides relevant guidance for New Hampshire towns, cities, and community arts and cultural organizations in their shared work to strengthen local economies, promote a culture of public engagement, stimulate tourism, and energize downtown environments.
