Water/Wastewater Licensed Superintendent

The Town of Charlestown is accepting applications for this full-time position. 

The Water/Wastewater Licensed Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and management of a Level 2 water/wastewater facility in accordance with state and federal regulations. This role requires a strong background in water and wastewater treatment, as well as leadership skills to manage a team of operators and ensure the facility operates efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.

• Valid Water/Wastewater Operator License (Level 2) issued by [State Licensing Board].

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and equipment.

• Excellent leadership and management skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.
