Summer Seasonal - Pool and Camp Positions

JOB OPENINGS

Available for2024 Seasonal Summer Employment

Town of Bedford Recreation Department openings include:

• Camp Witzel Summer Day Camp Counselors (Open M-F Counselors scheduled 35-40 hours per week Camp hours 7:30-5:30 PM)
• Bedford Memorial Pool Lifeguards (20 County Road) open 7 days a week
• Bedford Memorial Pool Desk Attendants (20 County Road) open 7 days a week

Information to keep in mind for Seasonal Employment:

• Camp Counselors (typically 18 years of age, but we will consider 16-17 year olds who have attended C.I.T. Training with our day camp)
• Lifeguarding (typically 15 years of age or older with lifeguard certification - Red Cross or SwimNH).  We will be running a certification class at our pool in June before the season opens and you can get certified.  We have great opportunities to lifeguard at the Bedford Memorial Pool over the summer.
• Pool Desk Attendants–Pool information person, answering phone calls and questions, check in families coming to swim for the day and selling concessions.  As you will be handling money you must be at least 16 years of age.
