RECREATION FACILITY MONITOR-Recreation Facility

Town of Lyme is looking for candidates to be Lyme Recreation Facilities monitors. 
This person would be responsible for ensuring all facility users are Lyme residents and Monitor people and vehicles entering Chase Beach/Recreation area Knowledge of and the ability to enforce all policies, procedures and regulations set by the Selectboard and Recreation Commission for use of the Recreation Facilities.  This is a part-time seasonal position
 
POND PROGRAM COORDINATOR-Chase Beach

Town of Lyme is looking for a candidate to run the Pond Program at Chase Beach. They will be responsible for the daily activities for a specific age group, as well as supervising counselors and campers. Responsible for providing an environment that is safe, nurturing, healthy, educational and fun. Provides campers with the opportunity to develop new skills and make positive contributions at camp and in the community. This camp is to include swimming lessons for campers. Must be 21 or older and graduated from an accredited high school or equivalent. Certification required; CPR, Standard First Aid and WSI. Ability to supervise and manage a small group of campers of varying ages. This is a part-time seasonal position (3 to 4 weeks)

 
LIFEGUARD- Chase Beach

Chase Beach is located in Lyme’s Recreation Facility and is a swimming area for the residents of Lyme and their guests. We are hoping the beach will be open and manned with life guards for 9 weeks of the summer. Life guards will be on duty from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. The lifeguard shift will be scheduled leaving ample time for the daily maintenance to be completed prior to the opening of the beach. The lifeguards will be required to arrive at 10:30am, and leave at 6:00pm.  This is a part-time seasonal position Must be 16 or older.  Certification required; CPR, Standard First Aid and lifeguarding certification. 

 
CHASE BEACH SUPERVISOR/ HEAD LIFEGUARD

The Town of Lyme is looking for a supervisor to be responsible for ensuring the safety of staff and 
patrons including accident prevention in the water and in the surrounding area. Ensure the proper training and certification of lifeguards. Oversees daily maintenance, transactions and reporting.   Oversees Lifeguards and reports to the Town Administrator.  Part-time seasonal position and this can be in conjunction with a lifeguard position.
