Municipal Services Laborer

The Town of Waterville Valley is seeking energetic applicants to join our team as a Municipal Services Laborer. The Town of Waterville Valley is a four-season destination town located in the south central portion of the White Mountain National Forest and provide for the resort community. Communication skills are required. Duties will include monitoring the Transfer Station gate and assisting the public with the direction of disposal, buildings and grounds work, plowing and clearing snow and various other tasks related to the Department as assigned. The right person will be able to perform some duties of a semi-skilled craftsman and operate light departmental equipment safely and effectively; will have experience with various mowing/grounds-keeping equipment, light-duty trucks, and have a team-focused attitude. The position does require bending, stooping, lifting up to 100 lbs, pushing and pulling on a regular basis. This is a 30 hour a week position. Must possess a NH Drivers License with a clean record, pass a criminal background check and have the equivalent of a High School Diploma or GED.
