Firefighter/Paramedic or AEMT

The City of Laconia, New Hampshire is seeking to fill an immediate opening as well as form a list for future hires within the fire department. The individual will perform firefighting responsibilities and respond to medical emergencies. Job description and City application forms are available in the Finance Office or at the City website www.laconianh.gov  under Government/Personnel Department/Employment

Minimum qualifications for FF/Paramedic include a High School diploma, Nationally Registered Paramedic and Firefighter I certifications. (Obtaining Firefighter II certification within 12 months of employment is REQUIRED). Must possess current CPAT certificate or meet eligibility requirements for Lateral Transfer. Must obtain a CDL-B license within 6 months of employment.

Minimum qualifications for FF/AEMT include a High School diploma, Nationally Registered Advanced EMT and Firefighter II certifications. Must possess current CPAT certificate or meet eligibility requirements for Lateral Transfer. Must obtain a CDL-B license within 6 months of employment.

Laconia Fire Department does not have a residency requirement.
