Part-Time Building Clerk, Town of Moultonborough

The Town of Moultonborough is seeking a reliable, responsible person to fill a part time position of Building Clerk.

The position will entail an average of 20 hours per week throughout the year. Duties and responsibilities include greeting and providing initial direction to visitors of the Land Use Office, assisting the public and answering questions on building permit matters, conducting initial processing of building permit applications, and entering data necessary to maintain building permit database. Applicants must possess strong written and oral communication skills, be capable of organizing and tracking information in Microsoft Office and other permit-based applications, and work readily with email applications. A valid current driver’s license and background check is required.

Beginning wage rate is negotiable based on prior experience. A clerical or administrative background is preferred but Moultonborough is willing to train the right candidate.
