NHACC and YOU: Working to Protect NH's Natural Resources

Broadcast Date:
Wednesday, December 13, 2017
Duration:
NULL

Today there are over 200 conservation commissions in New Hampshire for the declared purpose of ensuring the proper use and protection of the natural resources in our cities and towns. These conservation commissions are assisted by the New Hampshire Association of Conservation Commissions (NHACC), a non-profit organization that provides education and training to municipal volunteers working to protect these natural resources in our communities.

Join NHACC Executive Director, Barbara Richter and Tom Duston, NHACC past president and long-time Chesterfield Conservation Commission member, who will explore how conservation commissions can better partner and collaborate with other groups to help protect New Hampshire’s natural resources. These partnerships not only benefit our communities but provide opportunities for members to share their local expertise and knowledge. Sharing the work load with like-minded people organized for a similar purpose is one of thebest ways to engage your community and generate potential new commission members.

This webinar is open to members of the New Hampshire Municipal Association and members of the New Hampshire Association of Conservation Commissions.
