Legislative Happenings at the State House at Crossover

Join Government Affairs Counsel Cordell Johnston and Government Finance Advisor Barbara Reid for a look at the status of legislation affecting municipalities after "Crossover." Crossover is the date (March 27 this year) by which a bill must pass either the House or the Senate in order to "cross over" to the other chamber for consideration.This webinar will discuss the prospects for bills still alive at the State House, and offer a postmortem on a few that have been killed. The discussion will include, among others, legislation on highway funding, the Right-to-Know law, the retirement system, planning and zoning issues, and tax rate setting.
